After a week of searching for my all-important-I-would-be-screwed-if-it-disappeared-completely notebook and writing about it yesterday, thank freaken god I found it. It was in a filing case I keep at work and which I almost never open, and so it does not make any sense that I put it in there. I must have been hung over or something.
And so, back to work. All’s good.

After a week of tearing apart both my apartment and cubicle at work, I have come to the conclusion that I have lost my notebook. Some that know me have probably seen me carrying it or one like it around. I’ve carried one ever since high school and I use it to make notes from books I read, write to-do lists for myself and other general scribbling. This is wrong, so very wrong
While a list like this is obviously subjective, there are some entries and ommissions that make me wonder if the Kerrang’s editors even understand punk.
If you want to talk influence, nothing by Jawbreaker, DOA, Subhumans (UK) or Screeching Weasel made the list while Americana by the Offspring did. Don’t get me wrong, I love the Offspring, but the record that has “Pretty Fly for a White Guy” is one of the top punk rock records ever?
